- The MyEd student portal will NOT be active until September 4.
- Office staff can support you in getting your Parent Connect account online if you are experiencing challenges mtdouginfo@sd61.bc.ca. Students who are new to SD61 will not yet have their @sd61learn.ca accounts so will not yet have access to student connect.
Please note that:
- we have very limited class availability in some blocks and in many subjects. We will not be able to accommodate most changes requested by students as we built our timetable based your requests made in February. Please do not resubmit the same request multiple times.
- grade 12s are the only students permitted a study block. Grade 12s are expected to be working in the library or off-site during their study blocks.
- Teaching assistant applications can be accessed in the office as of September 8; please do not seek out the teacher for their signature— that is all done through the office.
- Grade 10 English will show as two courses at the same time in the same block. This is normal.
- Student Connect and Parent Connect will refresh over night each day. Please continue to check your schedule for changes, including room changes or teacher names (it takes some time for our newly hired staff to have their names included in our system).
- Please do not email counsellors unless they have initiated the email exchange. All course change requests need to be done using the ‘change request form’: https://forms.gle/i6YbXRTGirEPA3wD6
Students new to Mount Doug (grades 10-12): Optional School Tour, September 4 at 11:30. Please meet near the main office at the main entrance of the school (by the flag pole).
