RAMPAC

All families with students at Mount Doug Secondary School are members of the RAM Parent Advisory Committee (RAMPAC). Our meetings are open to all school families and students who want to attend.

RAMPAC meetings take place: 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm in the MD Library during the months of: September, October, November, January, February, April, May (AGM, including the RAMPAC executive officer elections), and June. RAMPAC meetings do not take place in : July, August, December, or March.

Purpose:

The RAMPAC’s purpose is to facilitate exceptional educational, social, arts, and athletic opportunities for the students and staff at Mount Doug. We also act as a conduit of communication between the school administration and families. We comment on school and district priorities, advocating for our students. We also facilitate awarding a BCCPAC Scholarship to a graduating student. As members of VCPAC and BCCPAC there are additional resources we invite everyone to access.

The Principal reports at each meeting and we host school trustees, school district staff and have educational presentations as time allows.

We welcome ideas for building our school community. We believe all members of our community can make a positive contribution.

Events:

If you are interested in facilitating an education or other event for parents at the school, please let us know.

Funding:

Our primary sources of funding are the BC Gaming Grants for PACs.  If you would like to host a fundraiser, please let us know.
