At the Vancouver Island Regional Science Fair at UVic Eric Shi received the “BC Game Developers Innovation Award” and the “BC Hydro – Power Smart Award” for his project, “The Remote Control of Wheeled Robots through WIFi”, building a fully operating robot that can out-manoeuvre most robots in the room.
