Leadership Update

Leadership students are putting a focus on RAMS School Spirit this spring.  From intramurals to the Pep Rally to the Spring Dance we are delighted to see so many RAMtastic members of our school community involved.  MD Rules

Many thanks to the RAM parents and Mount Doug staff who helped out with the Spring Dance. Thanks to our Sports Ministry for running a fun and competitive basketball intramural season, and to all RAM athletes, who participated, congratulations on your fine play! Look out for badminton intramurals up next.

The foyer was filled with rockin’ tunes and walkin’ RAMS as leadership students hosted a lunch hour Easter Cake Walk just before the long weekend. Keeping things in a celebratory mood our Spirit Team has begun celebrating RAM Birthdays with chocolate kisses at lunch. So far we’ve celebrated September and October and look forward to wishing Happy Birthday to all of the RAMS community by the end of the school year.

We also want to share our RAM spirit with those in need and just made a donation on behalf of the RAMS to the BC Children’s Hospital. Funds were raised via a “healthy” foods bake sale.

Many RAMS will be participating in the 30-hour famine coming up on May 15 to raise funds for Free the Children.

We’re putting a new twist on our Spring Gala Arts & Culture Fair. It will take on a lunch-time festival flare in early June with art displays, student performances, a sidewalk chalk competition, and a culinary arts expose—plan to drop by on our lunch hour and experience a little RAM Spirit for yourself!
