A dedicated group of 18 Mount Doug students descended on Mount Douglas Park Beach on Saturday, September 27 to pick up over 77 pounds of garbage including 233 cigarette butts, 19 pieces of construction materials and a dozen pieces of clothing. The students next project will be to collect and arrange the safe disposal of cell phones and their accessories.
