On April 28, Mount Douglas students in Grades 11 and 12 were introduced to the University of Victoria Chemistry and Physics Departments during a Quantum Mechanics Symposium. After they were introduced to the double-slit experiment, they viewed one of the most powerful transmission electron microscopes in the world, as well as the innovative Raman microscope. The tour also included numerous demonstrations that were truly amazing!
