All students will receive paper copies of their schedules in their homerooms on Tuesday September 2.
Unfortunately, student schedules will not be available today at 1:00pm as previously published. At present the MyEd portal has not been opened (this is not something the school controls); I will send you a message when once it has been opened. In the meantime student schedules will be available via Student Connect and Parent Connect starting August 28th at 7:00am. Instructions for how to access student schedules through Student/Parent Connect can be found here. Please make sure to check student connect every 24 hrs should you have requested a schedule change.
Counsellors will be working on making adjustments throughout the first week of school. Revised schedules will be uploaded each morning for the first week of classes.
We will have very limited ability to change classes. We will only be taking requests via our Google Form. We will be prioritizing students as follows:
Please note: Counsellors will only be accepting Google Form course change requests under the following circumstances:
- You are missing a required course (check grad requirements). All students in Grades 11 & 12 would have received a grad status update in Student Connect last June.
- You do not have a full schedule (four courses each semester). Grade 9, 10 and 11 students MUST have four classes each semester within the timetable.
- You are missing a post-secondary program requirement.
- You wish to drop a class **ONLY FOR GRADE 12 STUDENTS WHO HAVE MET ALL OF THEIR GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS, AND HAVE HAD A GRADUATION CHECK DONE BY A COUNSELLOR **
Counsellors will not be meeting with students to change electives, switch blocks or change teachers. Most classes are at capacity, and there are no options for movement. Thank you for your understanding.
