Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians, 

It has been our honour to welcome students to Mount Douglas Secondary School for the 2024-2025 school year.   

Starting a new school year is like turning to a new page in a book: full of possibilities. It’s an opportunity to learn, grow, and create memories. Whether you’re a returning student or joining us for the first time, know that you are a valued part of our school family.  

Together, we’ll explore a multitude of subjects, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and discover new talents. Our teaching staff will provide an enriching and supportive learning environment, and they are eager to pass on their passion to you.  

High school isn’t just about academics; it’s also about building connections. Reach out to your classmates, sign up for clubs, attend our school events, and make the most of every opportunity —together, let’s make it a memorable year!  

As always, your safety and well-being remain our top priorities. We’ve implemented new measures to ensure that our school stays a safe and welcoming space for everyone. Remember, if you ever need support or have concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. From Administrators, to teachers, to counselors, to support staff- we are all here to help make you feel safe and supported. 

Think about your goals and dreams for this year. What do you want to achieve? Whether it’s acing that math test, performing in the school play, or making new friends, know that we’ll cheering you on every step of the way.
